Another example of young Orcadians combining traditional skills with a modern outlook is provided by twin sisters Jennifer and Hazel Wrigley, who have built an international reputation with their music-making. Jennifer on the fiddle and Hazel on guitar and piano play a lively combination of strathspeys, waltzes and polkas and their own compositions - a blend of the traditional and a variety of other influences; jazz, blues and rag-time.

As well as the twins' own compositions, this album includes traditional Orkney tunes such as the Stronsay waltz and Ally Windwick's Sleepy Laddie.
