Over the last twenty-five years, Owen Tierney of Attic Records has recorded seventy albums by Orkney's finest musicians and to mark his quarter-century he has produced this superb compilation CD.

To anyone familiar with Orkney music, the names of the performers is sufficient guarantee of the quality of the recording - Angus Findlater, Pat Shearer, Davie Eunson, Ivan Drever, Douglas Montgomery, the Kirkwall City Pipe Band, The Wyre Band, Hullion, The Wrigley Sisters and more.

Those who haven't been fortunate enough to hear these musicians before just need to know that it is a wonderful mix of songs and instrumentals, soloists and bands, fiddles, pipes and accordions.

Several of these tracks are taken from the other albums available in the shop so it is an excellent way to sample some of the different performers.
