Stoursdale Dragon Brooch

The silver Celtic dragon, wings unfurled and questing head raised, is handmade in Stewart Moar's workshop, very near the Ring of Brodgar and Maeshow. The mythical creatures of Orkney folklore are trows, sea-monsters, fairies and giants but this little silver dragon seems to belong in this ancient landscape too.
