Sandstone Pendant

The soft sandstone that makes up most of Orkney's gently rounded landscape can't be tumbled to shape, so Jane carefully selects the right stones from the beach. The silver wire mount is twisted to make little bubbles and the pendant is hung on a 13.5cm silver plated hoop.
