Umbels - Moss
Sarah Johnston has seen the beauty in the shape of cow parsley, a weed commonly found in Orkney, and used it to provide the design for this elegant hand-printed linen cushion. Cow parsley also has the more elegant name of Queen Anne's Lace but this isn't a name commonly used in Scotland. Sarah has called the design Umbels, which is the name for stalks spreading our from a single point. The strong lines of the dark green design on a moss green background make a cushion that is striking but restful. The backing is matural linen.
40 cm square, with hollow fibre pad and zip fastening.
