Curly Doddies

Curly Doddy is the lovely Orcadian name for red clover and on our way to school we would sometimes pick one and suck out the honey. These curly doddies, hand-made by a small Orkney business, are even sweeter. Deep pink or white marshmallow is encased in white chocolate and covered with coconut.

The neat little pack of eight sweets would make a lovely little present for a sweet-toothed friend, especially one who remembers the verges thick with curly doddies. They would also make an unusual and attractive petit-four after a meal.
