Shore and Pebbles

A calm sea carves shapes on a sandy beach while pebbles sit out of reach. The ripples on the sea echo the shape of the silhouettes of seabirds soaring above. Applique, reverse applique and machine embroidery have been used to create this tranquil scene.

Like all the quilts, there is a hanging sleeve on the back to make it easy to add a flavour of Orkney to your wall.
