Dandelion

The dandelion is called a weed but, in the early summer, they make the roadside verges in Orkney blaze with colour and this quilt beautifully illustrates the phrase, ' A weed is just a flower in the wrong place'. It's bright colours blaze against the pastel patchwork. The panels of randomly pieced rich greens and blues add depth to a work of art that would add a splash of colour to your walls.
